I love Inside the Actor’s Studio, I confess I’m not great about remembering when it’s on to watch but if I catch it I usually sit and watch, transfixed. I will never ever be on the show but for grins I thought I would answer James Liption’s version of the Proust Questionnaire:

What is your favorite word?

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Being around creative people

What turns you off creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
People who preach the gospel of “being grounded in reality“ including refrains of “don’t quit your day job”

What sound or noise do you love?
The crackle of something cooking in a pan on the stove – meat, butter, onions, whatever. The sound changes slightly depending on what it is, but it’s all kind of the same.

What sound or noise do you hate?
The phone ringing when there’s already engaging conversation occuring

What is your favorite curse word?

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Photojournalist

What profession would you not like to do?
Politician, dog catcher or higher

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
