It seems like this book has taken quite a beating from people who complain that it’s too much like several other books out there, there have particularly been comparisons made to Twilight, but I still really enjoyed the book. The book opens giving the reader a little insight that our main character doesn’t have, I think at times that knowledge that we have that she doesn’t makes our heroine seem a little dense but I prefer to think she was just blissfully ignorant of the trouble that’s brewing all around her. I am intrigued by this first taste and eager to see where the next book takes us.
