This book is the first in a trilogy, and early on it’s a little confusing – it feels like there are new characters coming at you from every direction and the action is rather fast paced. However, once the initial setup is complete, you really get to know the characters and this new landscape which is so familiar and yet so different. By the end of the book, I couldn’t wait to see where the next book in the series would take me.
